"THE 'SUFFERING' LAMB!"
(Based on Isaiah 53)

The 'suffering' Lamb of God
spoke not a word to them,
To the 'slaughter' He freely went
pleasing God to ~ bruise Him.
Now Satisfied ~
for 'Jesus' bore our iniquities,
Making 'Intercession' for us
as He hung upon that tree!
And yet we did 'despise' Him
& turned our face away,
Wounded for our transgressions
on that monumental Day.
His 'Soul' was the offering
for He was pure & clean,
Oh, have you ever witnessed
that gruesome, awful scene?
Yet, if His Blood He had NOT shed
No Hope for us could there be said. *
And then that 'Great' Day came along *
So now I can SING a brand NEW Song!
For He rose up *
from that grave so bleak,
Came into my heart
& now I can speak.
For He said to *
~ GO & TELL ~
Then perhaps you'll save
one Soul from Hell! *
Amen!
