The ‘Evening’ Star of David
bright shining as the Sun,
Who will Light your path of ‘darkness’
toward that ~ Holy One!
Walking ‘through’ dark valleys low?
Well, children, have no fear,
The Bright & Morning Star is shining *
right in your heart, my dear.
Come, let Christ lead you
follow His bright Light,
He will guide you through this valley
so you can WIN this fight!
‘Battles’ never cease to be
they’ll always be around,
But why fight them all alone
& wear on your face ~ a frown?
Ask Jesus for His help, my dear
He’s ‘waiting’ ~ with listening Ear,
Oh, why do we waste so much precious time
living in doubt & fear?
Have FAITH, dear one, to keep you ‘strong’
& ‘brave’ to fight the fight,
Bring HOPE along to ‘lead’ you
‘toward’ that ~ Guiding Light.
Wear LOVE, dear heart,
as a ‘cloak of Prayer’ for service,
Then, my precious children,
you’ll not be so nervous!
