"HOW TO 'SURVIVE' IN THE HEAT!"

We all must learn to know
"how to 'survive' in the heat",
The heat of great adversity
which Satan uses to try to 'beat'!
Beat us down until we 'faint'
& 'die away' from serving Christ,
Seeking to kill our 'Promises'
that God gave us in our 'night'!
Let God come & 'teach' you
how to 'pace' your steps,
So you won't be 'overcome'
when the heat is so immense.
'Proven' character will be able to handle
'anything' that comes their way,
So find someone who 'KNOWS' The Lord
& press FORWARD ~ NOW ~ TODAY!
Let them 'lift you up'
toward a 'higher' place in life,
One that will take you through
those troubles & all that strife.
Let JESUS hover 'above' you
'Resting' in HIS Care,
And as far as you can see Him
you'll find He's ~ EVERYWHERE!
See Him in the 'spirit'
with eyes of 'Love & Hope',
Have 'faith & patience' always
as it yields a 'Living' Rope.
Tied 'all around' you
'Secured' by His shed Blood,
So you can inherit
a 'Resting Place' Above.
THANK YOU dear Lord Jesus
for awaking me to hear,
A preacher on TV¹
who brought me ~ 'Words' of cheer!
Quickening in my spirit
that what You've birthed in me,
Will ~ in the near future
be released for the World to see.
The birth of that 'Vision'
You gave me long ago,²
That 'one day' I would reach out
& help 'other' lives to know:
The 'heart' of God's great LOVE
& His 'Longing' Prayer for thee,
That He doesn't want you to 'perish' *
but wants to set you 'FREE'!
'Free' from sin & strife
& 'free' from all your shame,
'Free' to DO His Will
& 'free' to wear His Name.
Now the Poems that YOU gave me, Lord
will surely 'help' another,
When it's 'TIME' for their release
to encourage my fellow 'brother'.
