“SOLDIERS!”

God always ‘trains’ His Soldiers
on the ‘battlefield’,
To develop their ‘character’ *
& ‘His Sword’ to wield!
Lying in a ‘feather bed’
will only make us weak,
And when the ‘shooting’ starts
we’ll be dead out in the street.
Knowing not how to fight
the enemy of our soul,
For we’ve wanted a ‘soft life’ *
& ‘no tactics’ do we know!
Thank God He will not let us
be lazy ~ but alert,
Teaching us ~ while in the battle ~
where Satan hides & lurks.
Making us ‘quality’ Soldiers
depending ONLY on our Lord,
For He’s The One Who teaches us
to wield His Mighty Sword (The BIBLE).
