"OUR QUIET TIME!"

Our 'quiet time' with JESUS
must be spent in 'growing near',
So, day by day 'take' time
& spend it wisely, my dear.
For just to sit beside Him
in quietness alone,
Listening to His tender Heart
kneeling near God's Throne ~
Is the 'best' time of your life
where you'll get to know Him well,
Yet, He doesn't always Speak
but ~with Him~ we must dwell!
Sweet Peace will sweep o're you
& Love & Comfort, too,
And 'True understanding' of His Love
will enable you to 'DO'!
To 'DO' what He tells you
when He decides to Speak,
Strengthening you in His Presence
so you won't grow tired & weak.
You can tell an 'overcomer'
for he dwells with God in 'secret',
And his Joy is in knowing
the 'TRUE SAVIOR' he has met.
Christ will 'prove' your friendship
by asking you to 'wait' ~ *
In silence right beside Him
so we can 'enter' Life's Gate.
For then He'll be 'assured'
that our love is true,
And that we won't forsake HIM
in 'anything' He calls us to do.
