“OUR ‘HANDS’!”

Our hands can help
& our hands can hurt,
Lifting another ‘up’ ~
or ‘down’ into the dirt!
‘Unmanaged’ hands
become ‘weapons’ of hate,
Persecuting & seducing
or destroying a mate!
Our ‘children’ might know
our hands quite well,
Are they tortured by them
or lifted up in prayer?
Are ‘emotions’ controlling
those hands of ours,
Or is ‘Jesus our Savior’
with all His scars?
Oh, ‘surrender’ those hands
of yours, my friend,
Seek God’s help
in ‘controlling’ them!
Let them be ~
an ‘instrument of grace’,
Instead of ‘wounding’
another ones face!
Guilty was I
& needed God’s Grace,
To ‘forgive’ my sin
& it to erase!
Thank God He DID
as I did repent,
And now to ‘others’
my life must be spent.
‘Using’ these hands
God has given me,
Writing Poems
so ‘others’ can see!
His GREAT ‘Love’ (JESUS)
He sent to Earth,
So we’d ‘surrender’ ALL
& have a ‘New Birth’!
We do not need
to act like the World,
Striking out at others
with hands so curled.
‘Extend’ those hands
in friendship kind,
I’ll tell you how:
by ‘renewing your mind’!
Allow God to ‘manage’
your hands, my friend,
Be ‘gracious’ & ‘kind’
to the very End.
Then when folks
remember you,
They’ll think of JESUS
in all you do.
Because ~ you’ll be:
~ Just Like JESUS! ~
Amen!
