"JOB SUFFERED WHILE SERVING GOD!"

Job 'suffered' while serving GOD
the best way he knew how,
He didn't understand it all
but he remained 'loyal' - anyhow!
What about you & me, my friend?
Will we remain FAITHFUL to the end?
When pain & sorrow fill our night *
Will we stand firm or 'give up' the fight?
When our 'accusers' pass us by *
Slinging 'mud' right in our eye!
Will we get mad & 'retaliate'?
Or will we 'PRAY' them through The Gate? *
'FORGIVING' all those ugly words
That pierced our heart just like a sword. *
No comfort from them did we know *
And from our eyes the tears did flow.
Then God Himself appeared to us
speaking from the whirlwind, *
His questions to us He did ask
& 'on GOD' we had to depend!
"I repent in dust & ashes!" *
was Job's quick reply,
Seeing only God's WORTHINESS *
down here & in the sky!
So too with us, my dear, it seems
'In CHRIST' is all our hopes & dreams,
Whatever 'suffering' we experience here
Serve Him well & with 'good cheer'. *
Like Job, we'll live a long good life *
With God's PROMISE of 'Eternal' Life. *
In Christ we're kept right to the end
So Eternity -WITH Him- we can spend!
Don't turn your back nor shun His WORD
But, COME TO CHRIST & do ALL you've heard.
REGARDLESS of what 'life' tosses you
PLEASE ALWAYS -to our GOD- stay TRUE!
