Covered, Lord, with Thy tender Mercies
covered with Thy tender care,
ALL my burdens I lay before You
for ‘all of them’ I cannot bear!
My understanding is so dim
until to me You reveal Your Truths,
Showing me ~ You are in charge
& ~ with You ~ we will not lose!
I thought I’d ‘failed again’
until I read Your Words, *
For in them was Your Mighty PLAN
where mine was just absurd!
In my ‘weakness’ I stood to lose *
all that I held on to,
Only when I let go of ALL
would You do all You could do!
Now I can only ‘rest’
Leaving my children in Your Hands
I needn’t sit in sad dismay!
For I KNOW You love them, too
even more than I do,
You sent Your Son to ‘die’ for them
so they could ~ONE DAY~ live with You!
